Lana Del Rey is back with another Instagram-copping, hipster checking music video, this time for “National Anthem”. And she’s towing along hipster hip-hop star A$AP Rocky with her to play John F. Kennedy to her Jackie O and also Marilyn Monroe for some reason. I don’t know why she double-dipped either. I guess she couldn’t decide which sixties era manic pixie dream girl to play, so she just threw her arms up in the air and said “Screw it, I’ll play both.” This video is a bit on the needlessly long-side and retcons a lot of JFK’s life for the sake of throwing in some old timey gangsta stuff, but other than that it’s quite good.
